Indigo Packaging was founded in 2018 by Camille Corr Chism to provide packaging design and sales to consumers. Ms. Corr Chism is the principal and owner of Indigo Packaging and Consulting, a packaging strategist, returnable thought leader, and product developer. She is also a certified packaging professional whom the Institute of Packaging Professionals inducted into the College of Fellows in 2014.

Ms. Corr Chism attended Michigan State University. There she studied Packaging Engineering, which provided the mix of creativity and technical skill she sought. She began her packaging career in food and moved to sales and eventually automotive. Her vast experience across the packaging industry was intentional, as she always had plans to begin her firm. Ms. Corr Chism founded Indigo Packaging to help companies improve their processes and products through packaging and lean manufacturing. She noted that companies with over 30 years of experience were being disregarded even though their products were delivering on all other accounts to the intended market. Since then, the need for quality packaging has remained an integral part of Indigo Packaging.

Indigo Packaging was the solution to updating packaging while keeping the cost lower for the company. In addition, Ms. Corr Chism's years of experience give her a vast network of suppliers.
